Title Drawing of Lowertown, Lerryn up-stream
Filename
Uploaded file
Description Photocopy of an annotated drawing of Lowertown, Lerryn 'taken from an old picture' and signed G Barrett. The viewpoint looks upstream on the St Veep side towards the bridge and shows: the Black Store which belonged to Blamey and Morcom of Liskeard (now demolished); Couch's Store (now a dwelling); and the Red Store (then also Blamey and Morcom's). The Territorial Drill Hall is not shown suggesting a date before 1911 for the original picture.
